The concept revolves around eliminating disposable packaging and reducing water transport. Instead of using a new can or bottle of soft drink each time, consumers can simply refill their own reusable bottle. This leads to a significant reduction in plastic consumption, directly contributing to CO\u2082 reduction.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, devices were used that offered only basic functionality. These devices served as prototypes and lacked the smart technology needed for scalability and efficiency, meaning a completely new and optimised machine had to be developed.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"font-alt fw700 balanced h4\"><span style=\"color: #00677f;\">solution<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Together with Dripl, Contecto developed an advanced electronic system for the new generation of drink dispensers. Two PCBAs were developed and programmed with embedded software, together forming the core of the intelligent dispenser. The system:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Acts as the brain of the machine<\/li>\n<li>Controls internal processes such as dosing and liquid management<\/li>\n<li>Enables user interaction via a modern touchscreen<\/li>\n<li>Supports wireless communication (4G, NFC, GPS, WiFi) for communication with the end user, monitoring and updates<\/li>\n<li>Reads sensor data such as liquid level, temperature and bottle detection<\/li>\n<li>Controls actuators for precise dosing and efficient operation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"font-alt fw700 balanced h4\"><span style=\"color: #00677f;\">Result<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The collaboration between Dripl and Contecto has created a sustainable and innovative solution that takes the drink dispenser market to the next level:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>More efficient and scalable production: A new electronic system eliminated dependency on older devices, allowing Dripl to scale up.<\/li>\n<li>Sustainable &amp;
