Customer cases: PM-3 Test Fixture
For testing a PCB with buttons, an LED and a 3D magnetic sensor, we developed a customised PM-3 test fixture. This automates the entire validation process: solenoids operate the buttons consistently, a built-in light sensor measures the intensity and colour of the LED, and copper wire around the sensor generates a controlled magnetic field in three directions.
The result is an efficient, repeatable test without human variables, accurately validating the product’s mechanical, optical and magnetic properties.
