BattScan is an excellent solution for organisations that own forklifts, or lease them out to third parties. The technology gives you the tools to significantly improve the quality and lifespan of the equipment.

Forklifts are often not fully charged, or the normal charging cycle the battery actually needs to perform well is deviated from in other ways. BattScan was developed to provide better control over this.

BattScan reads out various factors that can affect battery quality, such as the forklift’s operating hours and driving times. In addition, the battery itself is also monitored, looking at factors such as temperature, voltage and cells. By measuring these elements and sending them to a cloud server, it’s possible to determine the battery’s condition and take action based on this to counter the downward spiral in usage life.
