Design For Manufacturing DFM

Design For Experience (DFX) is a methodology with great added value for the aspects of the design of a Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA). The X in DFX is often explained as eXperience, but in reality this X is variable and can represent multiple aspects that are important for a Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) productdesign. Common variables here are Design For Manufacturing (DFM), Assembly (DFA), Cost (DFC), Reliability (DFR) and Testability (DFT).
